State Archives Presents Virtual Program with women’s history research topics

On March 22, 2022, join Ph.D. candidates Madison Helman and Jewel Parker as they share their discoveries in the State Archives that contributes to their work on murder ballad subjects and women healers. The panel will highlight on-site research material for women's studies and collections on the North Carolina Digital Collection.

The State Archives of North Carolina will host a virtual presentation, “Women’s History Research Showcase” Tuesday, March 22, 7-8 p.m.

Curious about what other researchers are discovering in the search room? Learn about two current projects using State Archives’ collections. Ph.D. candidates Madison Helman and Jewel Parker will share highlights of their research on murder ballad subjects and women healers. The panel will also point out digitized collections to explore for additional women’s history topics.
