Virtual Tours

While onsite tours are not currently available, virtual tours can be viewed online. Teacher-led school groups can also schedule an "Ask an Archivist" session.

Interested in scheduling one for your class?

  1. Email Becky McGee-Lankford, Government Records Section Manager about any areas of N.C.’s documentary history your class may find interesting and to schedule a time for one of our archivists to visit your class virtually.
  2. Take a virtual tour with State Archivist, Sarah Koonts. (16.5 minutes)
  3. Open the door to your virtual classroom at the scheduled time for a dynamic Q & A "Ask an Archivist" session with an archivist about N.C. documentary history resources.
