Legacy Finding Aids
Finding aids are indexes and descriptions of materials in our holdings that are used by researchers and archivists to find items in our collections. Legacy finding aids are older descriptions, often in paper format, that may not have been updated in many years. In some cases, the information in these documents has not yet been added to the online catalog, DOC, making these finding aids the only guides to these materials. The oldest of our legacy finding aids are available to view in the North Carolina Digital Collections as scans of the paper indexes. Newer legacy finding aids are available through this website as Word documents.
