In many state agencies, the job of keeping tabs on records management activities is greater than one individual can accomplish. So a number of state agencies have designated records liaisons to assist the Chief Records Officer. The Government Records Section had produced a manual to assist these records liaisons in understanding their role and in being able to answer questions for their colleagues. It highlights relevant resources and answers common questions.
