The Court of Chancery in London occasionally heard cases relating  in some way to the colonies. North Carolina topics in the series C 24  (depositions taken in London) concern, among other matters and persons,  Culpeper's Rebellion, shipping and trade, Eleazer Allen, proprietary  shares and their descent, the Dobbs family, a shipwreck on Ocracoke Bar in 1775.

The Court of Chancery in London occasionally heard cases relating  in some way to the colonies. The one North Carolina item in the series  C 113 concerns Governor George Burrington's land on the Cape Fear River. Test
