Space is limited! This workshop, taught by staff of the State Archives and State Library, provides an overview of basic genealogy, how to be productive and organized in research, reading colonial handwriting, and important resources for conducting genealogical research that are available at the library and archives. Handouts will be provided and there will be time for questions at the end of the session.

This is the first in a series of three workshops. Subsequent workshops will be an intermediate level on February 17 for $30 for adults, $20 for students and Friends of the Archives members; and an advanced level on March 24 for $40 for adults, $30 for students and Friends of the Archives members. Anyone wishing to sign up for all three may do so for $80 for adults, $70 for students and Friends of the Archives members.
