<p>The collection was donated to the State Archives on April 29, 2005, by the estate of Shirley Winston, Virginia (Marianna Theo, agent). Shirley Winston was a direct descendent of Rencher. Abraham Rencher's daughter Geneva married Robert Newton Winston. The items were accessioned in July, 2005.</p>
